    The PWSS is committed to developing leading practice in parliamentary workplace education and training. 

    This includes in-house delivery of programs customised for CPWs; the development of new initiatives to address emerging needs; and partnerships with leading universities and research institutions.

    The PWSS Academy brings our education, training and professional development offerings into a central learning hub, which includes:

    • Work-integrated education and training programs;
    • Learning and development pathways to support you to reach your full potential;
    • Executive coaching to elevate leadership practice;
    • Curated professional development pathways for individuals and offices;
    • Promotion of key wellbeing and inclusion events to raise awareness and understanding;
    • Guest speaker events to share excellence in practice; and
    • Networking opportunities for peer learning.

    Professional Development Program

    The PWSS Academy delivers the Professional Development Program (PDP) for MOP(S) Act employees.  

    Staff can access training through a range of flexible methods, including face-to-face, virtual live learning, and webinars, as well as self-paced options such as e-learning and tools (e.g. handouts, templates, articles, books, podcasts, and videos).

    Safe and Respectful Workplace (SRW) training  

    The SRW training program will support you to understand your rights and responsibilities in the workplace, what constitutes unacceptable behaviour and how to respond to serious incidents when they occur. Register here.
