Before Blue: A mental health coaching program to get you from stress to strength

    Parliamentarians and MOP(S) Act employees have access to Before Blue, an early intervention mental health program which provides tools and support to manage stress, build resilience, and enhance overall mental wellbeing. This service was developed by Beyond Blue in partnership with Comcare.

    The service can be accessed without a GP referral or mental health treatment plan. Neither PWSS nor your employing parliamentarian receive any identifying information about employees who undertake the service.

    Beyond Blue combines expert coaching with practical tools to help you improve your mental health. The program builds lasting resilience and helps you to develop lifelong coping skills that you can use at work and at home. From PwC’s NewAccess Workplace Evaluation survey conducted over 2021 to 2024, we found that 72% of participants saw improvement in symptoms of mental health, and improved functioning in the workplace.
